Elliott Wood has worked with some of the UK’s leading architects on prominent projects such as ORTUS, Shoreditch Village, Kentish Town Health Centre, 150 Holborn, North London Hospice and numerous high-end private houses. The practice has also designed structural solutions for sculptures by the likes of Antony Gormley and Alyson Shotz.
A strong commitment to sustainability is embedded in the practice’s culture and this translates into all projects. The practice recently won the ‘Best Green Business’ award at The London Business Awards 2014 and The Pavilion, Pagoda Gardens, a private home in Blackheath, London, came first in The Guardian’s Eco Homes competition. ORTUS, one of the practice’s most high-profile projects was also ranked the highest rated building for sustainability in the Architects’ Journal.
